Michael Alexander

Senior Litigation Lawyer

Michael Alexander is a senior employment litigation lawyer at Achkar Law, serving clients across Ontario and British Columbia. He handles the full range of workplace disputes, from wrongful and constructive dismissal to severance, human rights, and workplace investigations, and he brings broader litigation experience that includes judicial review and appeals and health-care regulatory matters.

Michael brings more than three decades of litigation experience. He earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Toronto and a Master of Laws at Columbia Law School, following an Honours B.A. in Political Science and Political Philosophy, also at the University of Toronto.

He is the author of two books, How to Inherit Money (HarperCollins) and Competing Against America (Wiley and Sons).
