Our Philosophy

Letter from Christopher Achkar

Thank you for visiting our website.

After practising law at other firms, I noticed a serious problem with the legal industry. Clients were having trouble getting straight-forward legal advice that they were able to understand. Instead of feeling confident, clients were feeling helpless when faced with legalese and complicated processes which got in the way of their ability to access justice.

In 2016, I founded Achkar Law. I decided to practise law the way it should be—using simplified language and practical strategies to resolve complex issues. After all, I am advising real people with real problems. Not only do I have to be a skilled lawyer, I also need to practise law with an appreciation of the unique and difficult positions in which my clients find themselves.

This has proven to be what every individual and business wants—honest, straight-forward, practical advice that makes financial sense.

Our team continues to grow to include like-minded skilled lawyers, paralegals, and staff, to help people using the effective experience we have gained over the years. We take pride in our work, and our legal professionals advise individuals and businesses with care for all their circumstances.

Our clients and colleagues in the legal industry continue to trust us by referring their friends and family. Why? Because we love what we do, we do it well, and we do it with professionalism.

We believe everyone has the right to understand what is happening with their legal issues. We also believe everyone should be equipped with everything they need to be able to make good decisions and obtain good results. This is how we help people.

Our clients are professionals and experts in their fields. They are individuals and businesses who make smart business and legal decisions. They are leaders in various industries—and we invest in their success by understanding their businesses and circumstances and advising with skill.

We look forward to serving you and being your trusted legal advisers.
