Employment and Business Litigation Lawyer
We are adding two lawyers with at least five years of Ontario litigation experience. Our firm values diligence, integrity, and the pursuit of excellence.
The position offers the flexibility of remote work, requiring candidates to have a suitable home office setup.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead litigation cases with confidence and autonomy.
- Draft, review, and manage essential case documents and proceedings.
- Ensure exceptional client service during mediations, discoveries, and court proceedings.
- Treat sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality.
- Employ strategic thinking to navigate complex legal challenges.
Who We Are Looking For
- LL.B. or J.D. from a recognized law school.
- Good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in litigation, particularly in our key practice areas.
- Strong command of English (verbal and written), with French being an additional asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Associate Lawyer (0-2 years)
Achkar Law is currently seeking a junior lawyer with 1 to 3 years of experience in employment, labour, and human rights law. We encourage new calls to apply, as well as lawyers with relevant experience in our fields of practice. While experience is an asset, we believe that your attitude is far more valuable.
Law Clerk
Achkar Law is currently seeking a law clerk to help lawyers at our offices. Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
