Scott Simser is a Senior Litigation Lawyer at Achkar Law, with over 25 years of experience in Charter law, human rights law, tax law, and employment law. He got his start by litigating weekly in the Tax Court of Canada for a year fresh off from being called to the Bar.
Scott has litigated at all levels of court in Canada, and has litigated ground-breaking constitutional law and Charter law cases that have been cited extensively with approval in the Federal Court of Canada, and has had a bankruptcy case cited by the Supreme Court of Canada.
In his free time Scott enjoys travel, especially to Europe, and loves swimming in freshwater lakes in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter.
