MacKenzie Campbell
Senior Litigation Lawyer
MacKenzie Campbell is a litigator whose practice spans employment law, labour law, and corporate, commercial, and civil litigation. He advises employers on the full range of workplace matters, from terminations, dismissals, and layoffs to workplace policies and labour and employment compliance, and he also represents individuals in employment, human rights, and regulatory disputes.
MacKenzie began his career as an Assistant Crown Attorney with the Ministry of the Attorney General, where he was in court daily on criminal matters, conducting bail hearings, preliminary inquiries, and trials. He brings that courtroom experience to a civil and commercial litigation practice that has included partnership, director and officer, and breach of contract and fiduciary duty disputes, as well as complex tax litigation involving major corporations and matters valued in the millions of dollars. He has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and the Assessment Review Board.
Earlier in his career, MacKenzie acted as external counsel to government organizations and large corporate employers, including on-site work at automotive manufacturing facilities. That experience gave him a close view of how large organizations manage their workforces and drew him to employment and labour law.
MacKenzie earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario, where he competed for Western Law at the Arnup Cup, after completing an Honours Bachelor of Arts with a legal studies option at Wilfrid Laurier University.
MacKenzie brings strong litigation experience, careful legal analysis, and a steady, results-driven approach to every matter. Outside the office, he plays guitar, sings, stays active, and spends time with his son.
