Jason J. Jagpal advises employers across the full range of workplace issues, from employment law compliance and employment contracts and agreements to terminations, dismissals, and layoffs. He also represents employees, bringing more than a decade of employment and litigation experience to both sides of the workplace relationship.

Over the course of his career, Jason has handled employment and litigation matters at every stage, from advising clients before a dispute arises to conducting trials, summary judgment motions, and human rights and labour relations applications. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and the Ontario Labour Relations Board.

Jason earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, after completing an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Economics at Ryerson University.

Jason takes a practical, solutions-focused approach. Even before a dispute arises, he works with clients to protect and strengthen their position, and he makes a point of explaining complex legal principles clearly so that clients stay informed at every stage of the process.

Outside the office, Jason is an avid football fan who spends his free time hiking and travelling with his wife and their Samoyed.
