Harminder Mundi is an employment and workplace lawyer at Achkar Law, which advises and represents employers across Ontario and British Columbia. He offers practical, results-oriented advice across the employment relationship, from employment contracts and agreements and terminations, dismissals, and layoffs to workplace investigations. Harminder also acts for employees, which helps him read a dispute from both sides and steer it toward a sound outcome.
His litigation practice spans wrongful dismissal claims, human rights matters, workplace investigations, and contractual disputes, and he is comfortable resolving them through negotiation, mediation, or court proceedings. Known for an approachable manner and strategic thinking, Harminder makes sure clients understand their options and feel supported at every stage.
Harminder earned his Juris Doctor from Western University after completing a Bachelor of Arts at York University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He has been called to the Ontario Bar and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
Outside the office, Harminder enjoys mentoring young professionals, running and fitness training, and spending time with family and friends.
