Gareth D’Costa is a Senior Employment Litigation Lawyer at Achkar Law whose practice focuses on employment litigation and human rights, alongside commercial litigation, real estate disputes, and contract matters. His employment work covers wrongful and constructive dismissal, terminations and severance, employment contracts, workplace harassment and discrimination, and workplace policies.

Gareth earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, in 2016. He also holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration, with a minor in accounting and economics, and an Honours Bachelor of Psychology, both from Wilfrid Laurier University. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2017 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.

A first-generation immigrant, Gareth is the first member of his immediate family to pursue post-secondary education.

Outside the office, Gareth enjoys cooking, exploring the city, and spending time with his dog.
