Babak obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Ottawa with a specialization in alternative dispute resolution. During his tenure at law school, he interned at both a well-known business law firm and an employment law firm in downtown Ottawa.

Prior to attending law school, Babak completed his Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Philosophy.

In his free time, Babak enjoys playing strategy games with friends, cooking new recipes, and getting caught up about recent changes to the Rules of Civil Procedure
