Alicia earned her LL.B. from the University of Leicester in the UK. During law school, she volunteered with the Legal Advice Clinic, providing free guidance on employment, family, wills, and contract issues.

She began her legal career working in professional regulation for two provincial regulatory authorities, gaining insight into how workplace issues affect both employees and employers. Alicia then worked at a boutique law firm focused on estates litigation and family law before joining Achkar Law.

Outside of work, Alicia enjoys yoga, Pilates, reading, and travelling.
