Christopher Achkar is an employment lawyer and the Founder and Managing Partner of Achkar Law, which he established in July 2016 and has grown into a respected practice serving clients across Ontario and British Columbia. He is licensed in both provinces.

Christopher has been recognized in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a Lawyer to Watch in employment law (employer and employee), and named to Best Lawyers in Canada (2026) for his employment law work.

He represents employees, employers, and businesses in high-stakes employment, human rights, and commercial disputes. His practice includes wrongful dismissal, workplace investigations, human rights applications, employment agreements, shareholder conflicts, contract litigation, and construction disputes.

Christopher appears before all levels of court and before key tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and has gained experience at the Federal Court of Appeal.

Born in Lebanon, Christopher is committed to advancing access to justice. He serves on the Boards of Directors of the Beyond Reasonable Doubt Community, Blue Door, and the Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre.
