Mark Stoiko


Mark Stoiko is an Associate at Achkar Law who represents individuals and organizations in employment, corporate, and commercial litigation. His current work includes resolving workplace disputes, advising on contractual matters, and managing complex civil claims across Ontario.

Mark obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph in 2005 and his Master of Arts from Brock University in 2006, both with a focus on English Literature. He earned his Juris Doctor from Queen’s University in 2011, where he studied international business law at Herstmonceux Castle in England and gained hands-on experience through Kingston’s legal aid program.

Over the course of his legal career, Mark has built a strong litigation practice. He has appeared as lead counsel in multiple jury trials before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and has argued matters before the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Ontario Divisional Court. With more than 40 reported decisions across Ontario courts and tribunals, including the Licence Appeal Tribunal, he is known for his strategic, well-prepared advocacy.

Having spent a significant part of his career in personal injury law, Mark now brings that litigation experience to a broader practice. He works closely with clients to resolve disputes efficiently and with a focus on practical results.
