Andrew Au-Yeung is an Associate Lawyer at Achkar Law, where he represents both employees and employers in a wide range of employment, labour, and human rights law disputes. Andrew also has experience in corporate and commercial dispute resolution, including shareholder disputes and disputes between corporate stakeholders involving corporate oppression claims.
Before joining Achkar Law, Andrew articled at a full-service law firm in the Greater Toronto Area.
Andrew obtained his Juris Doctor from Western University in London, Ontario, and an Honours Specialization Bachelor of Arts in Criminology also from Western University. During his time at Western Law, he volunteered with the Community Legal Services clinic where he gained invaluable experience creating legal solutions for personal and sensitive issues. At Western Law, Andrew also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada where he worked on creating accessible employment law information bulletins for the public.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys competing in dragon boat, playing guitar, spending time with family, and playing board games with friends.
