Ashon Simpson represents employees and employers in all employment law and human rights law matters, including wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, harassment and discrimination.
Ashon gained experience in labour and employment law while completing his placement from the Law Practice Program with a well-renowned labour and employment firm in Toronto. He has assisted with mediations, arbitrations, and cases before the Superior Court of Justice. He also has experience working in a policy-oriented role in the healthcare sector.
During his time as a student at Osgoode Hall Law School, Ashon was actively involved in providing legal support services through ProBono Students Canada and the Osgoode Mediation Clinic. He competed in multiple oral advocacy competitions including the Manfred Lachs International Space Law Moot.
Ashon has an honours undergraduate degree in Criminology from the University of Toronto.
During his free time, Ashon enjoys watching Science Fiction, trail cycling, and reading about technological developments.
