Jason Jagpal is a Senior Employment Litigation Associate at Achkar Law. He represents both employers and employees in a variety of matters, including contract drafting, human rights claims, concerns related to bullying and harassment and wrongful dismissal litigation.

Jason brings over a decade of employment law and litigation experience. Jason has conducted trials, summary judgment motions, human rights and labour relations applications and has handled matters in Ontario, the Maritimes, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia. He has appeared before the Superior Court, Court of Appeal, Human Rights Tribunal, and Ontario Labour Relations Board.
Jason is a practical, innovative lawyer. Even prior to a dispute arising, Jason routinely provides strategies to both employers and employees to proactively protect (or enhance) his client’s position. Jason will provide the comfort of explaining complex legal principles to ensure that you, the client, are fully informed throughout the legal process.
Outside of resolving employment disputes, Jason spends his free time with his wife and beautiful Samoyed, either hiking around the province or plopping in front of endless gridiron madness on Sunday afternoons.
